English Dub Review: Tower of God “Funky!”

Overview:

The participants who acquired boarding passes enjoy a moment’s rest aboard the Archimedes. Khun is reunited with Rak on the floating ship. With their determination to take back Viole (Bam) from FUG, the “Flag” Workshop Battle finally begins!

Our Take:

Rak is one of my favorite characters and I think that’s why this arc dragged on for me when I read it. He’s barely in it and I’m going to be honest I don’t remember why he’s tiny right now but it’s hilarious. He’s also one of those friends who believes in you when you don’t want to believe in yourself, I think we could all use a friend like that. Sure, he says he’s going to eat you most of the time, but that comes with being a crocodile.

Khun and Rak are determined to take back Bam from FUG and I hope they do soon. This version of Bam is too sad to watch for me. The long hair isn’t doing it for me especially because I think he’s growing it out to hide his sad face. I’d probably be sad too if I was forced to be a hitman for a criminal organization but that’s why Khun and Rak need to save that boy and soon!
