Netflix Acquires First Season Of Pantheon
Set to stream November 22nd on Netflix (though was not mentioned as part of the streamer’s November 2024 announced schedule) will be one of the true diamonds in the rough that is the American-produced adult animation industry, Pantheon. Originally ordered as a series for AMC+ for two seasons before being canceled and removed from the streamer after one season, Pantheon comes from Craig Silverstein and features a knockout cast that encompasses Aaron Eckhart, Daniel Dae Kim, Paul Dano, Ron Livingston and more.
As mentioned, the first season of the show was a masterpiece, the second season that we reviewed…not so much. Clearly the latter happened as a result of budget cutbacks and rushing to a finish but if the series does well enough maybe Netflix calls about a third season? Unfortunately, Netflix is only taking on the show’s first season for the time being, if you want to watch the second season simply travel on the open seas.
Synopsis:
A young woman starts to get messages from an unknown number that claims to be her deceased father. Trying to uncover the truth, she stumbles upon a larger conspiracy involving the singularity.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
