DanDaDan: Hulu Announces Premiere Date For English Dubbed Adaptation

Hulu has announced an October 3rd premiere date for the English dubbed adaptation of Dandadan.
The series is being produced by Science Saru and directed by Fūga Yamashiro, with scripts written by Hiroshi Seko, character designs by Naoyuki Onda, alien and supernatural entity designs by Yoshimichi Kameda, and music composed by Kensuke Ushio. Bang Zoom is handling the English dubbed adaptation.
A ghost-believing girl(Momo played by Abby Trott) and an alien-believing boy (Okarun played by AJ Beckles) are thrown into a wild adventure following a supernatural encounter that confirms the existence of both ghosts and aliens.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
