English Dub Review: Go! Go! Loser Ranger! “1 Plus 2 Equals… Threat!”
Overview:
Fighter D and Kai Shion work together to face off against Shun Tokita in the final exam.
Our Take:
Fighter D needs to be careful or he’s going to give away that he’s not Hibiki. He faced off against a red ranger he’d already fought and mentioned the fight by saying “I’ll beat you again!” Only problem is when he faced that ranger last he didn’t look like Hibiki and I have a feeling that might come back to haunt him.
What won’t be haunting him or anyone was how awesome the fight scene in this episode was. D took full advantage of his ability to shapeshift in this battle. His teammates and him were facing off against some rangers and need to retrieve keys from them. D created a lot of smoke so he was able to shapeshift into the rangers and attack them which created an atmosphere of distrust between them.
In other good news if you like this anime and enjoy where it’s headed then you’ve got something to look forward to. A second season of the series has already been confirmed and will be coming out in 2025. I’m enjoying all the love that anime has been receiving lately since it means we might get more continuations of shows.
There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
