English Dub Review: The Daily Life of the Immortal King “Rong is in Dander”

Overview:

Someone is trying to kill Sun Rong and Wang Ling took that personally.

Our Take:

Something tells me the title of this episode was supposed to be “Rong is in Danger” but that was what Crunchyroll put as the episode title so there you have it. I don’t know if she is in dander but she is for sure in danger because one of the best in the world has promised to assassinate her. You can imagine that when Wang Ling heard the news he wasn’t the least bit happy. But between him and his friends, not to mention the impregnable safe that Sun Rong finds herself in, surely she’ll be safe right?

Well… the answer is both yes and no. She still got kidnapped somehow and found herself in another dimension or something. As we know that is child’s play to someone like Wang Ling, and he gave Sun his most prized possession, a lucky bag of crispy noodles.

Jokes aside, Wang asked Sun to trust him and eat the noodles, which somehow resulted in them… merging? That’s what it looked like to me anyways and of course that was where the episode ended. Next episode better have some answers and an awesome fight scene!
