English Dub Review: Banished From The Hero’s Party, I Decided To Live A Quiet Life In The Countryside “All for Blessings and Faith”
Overview

Our Take
Further continuing Van’s tour to Zoltan, Tisse, who accompanied Van on the expedition to defeat the Hill Giant, is shocked by his twisted sense of justice, revealing his extreme ideologies regarding the conversion of heretics, which shocks Tisse and leads to widespread unrest in Zoltan. The escalation of events reaches a breaking point when the magical properties of the Fairy King Shield causes chaos during a ceremony in Zoltan, further exposing Van’s arrogance and extremism. The confrontation between Yarandrala, Danan, and Van adds to the tension, culminating in a dramatic showdown with Red’s timely intervention.
Given that Van is a bit of a rude extremist, the tension escalates as Van’s clash with the townspeople reaches a boiling point, culminating in a showdown between him against Red and his allies. The exchange of blows, including a memorable slow-motion punch from Ruti, highlights the intensity of their conflict. And despite Red’s efforts to restore order by returning the magical shield to its rightful owners later on, Van isn’t dead yet and now has a new goal in mind after his near-death experience…
Overall, this episode was both unsettling and weirdly satisfying at the same time. While Van’s actions are reprehensible, he’s a much more interesting character to follow than his emotionless predecessor (Ruti). It’s clear that he’s never been a people person. Because whenever he’s on screen, he’s not always at his best behavior. As for Lavender (the Fairy that accompanies Van), she raises intriguing questions about Van and her motivations. Hopefully, we’ll find out about them before the season ends.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
