English Dub Review: Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable! “It’s Super Warm Inside the Snow Fort”

Overview:

Tsubasa decides to attend the Kitami Winter Festival with Minami. Tsubasa is nervous and wonders if it classifies as a date. Some days later, during lunch, Minami asks if she can go to Tsubasa’s house. On their way there the two come upon a snow mound.

Our Take:

I believe I mentioned this in my review of the first episode but I hope this doesn’t turn into a harem show. Trust me I love a good harem show but I would like Minami to be the only girl that Tsubasa is interested in. I could change my tune after next week though because it looks like one of the other girls is going to be introduced and she does seem to be interesting.

The voice acting only adds to Minami’s cuteness because as it turns out I’m pretty sure the voice actress is going for a Minnesota-like accent and it makes Minami that much more of a cutie. But I think this series is going to be a fun one to watch, especially this time of year. There’s snow around my house and there is something cozy about seeing the same sort of weather in the anime you’re watching. We’re off to a good start and I’m intrigued to see where this goes.
