English Dub Review: Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End “Aversion to One’s Own Kind”
Overview:
While passing by a village in the woods of the northern lands, Frieren and the party meet Sein, a gifted priest who is nonetheless corrupt enough to give even Heiter a run for his money. But what happened in his past?
Our Take:
Now I’m not sure if they are going for the same party composition as Frieren’s first group but if they are then now the group is complete. However, when I think about it I have a feeling we might need one more because as far as “classes” go we now have a priest, a warrior, and two mages. I imagine that Himmel was the “Hero” but that isn’t a class we might have one more person to recruit in the future.
This was a much more chill episode than the last few had been and I think that sums up what I love most about this series. It can go from being essentially a slice-of-life anime to action-packed and back to slice-of-life and still keep up the quality. I understand that I’ve been pretty much singing the praises of this show since episode one but it just hasn’t stopped being great. I will continue to shout from the rooftops that people need to watch this amazing show.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
