Peacock: Seth MacFarlane’s “ted” Series Posts Official Trailer
A new trailer and poster are here for the highly-anticipated new ted series from Seth MacFarlane with seven episodes on the way that features Scott Grimes (doing his best Bill Burr impression), Max Burkholder, Alanna Ubach, and Giorgia Whigham. Some of the writers for the episodes includes Seth MacFarlane (the first three), Paul Corrigan and Brad Walsh, Dana Gould, Jon Pollack, and Julius Sharpe.
ted is streaming January 11th on Peacock.
Synopsis:
In this comedic prequel event series to the Ted films, it’s 1993, and Ted the bear’s (Seth MacFarlane) moment of fame has passed. He’s now living back home in Framingham, Massachusetts with his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett (Max Burkholder), along with John’s parents, Matty and Susan (Scott Grimes and Alanna Ubach) and cousin Blaire (Giorgia Whigham). Ted may be a lousy influence on John, but at the end of the day, he’s a loyal pal who’s always willing to go out on a limb for friendship.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
