English Dub Review: Reign of the Seven Spellblades “Possibility”

Overview:

Oliver and Chela recruit an unexpected ally to help them venture into the labyrinth and get back Pete.

Our Take:

The characters  in this series are good but I really hope they continue to grow.

One character I mean specifically is Nanao, this episode made me feel like something is going on with her that might come up later. She was acting pretty different from normal for some reason but maybe it was just me. She has still been upbeat for the most part but she seemed a little less kind to her friends than normal.

I understand that Ophelia Salvadori is descended from Succubi but the amount of times that “wombs” were mentioned this episode was borderline uncomfortable. It stands to reason that she is using some form of sex magic or something and they just couldn’t outright say that but when they’re constantly saying that she only needs male “mana” I can put two and two together. Since Pete was captured and he’s a reversi that puts him in even greater danger because she probably doesn’t have a use for the female side of his mana. This was one of the weirder episodes but I’m still looking forward to this arc.
