English Dub Review: The Dangers in my Heart “Karte 2: I Died”
Overview
Despite his misgivings, Kyotaro keeps helping Anna the more they interact. He may be a better person than he believes.
Our Take
This time around, Anna brings a school snack that requires water, leading to a series of clumsy spills. Kyotaro, compelled to help, notices the odd urge to harm her. On a hot day, Kyotaro later stops some boys trying to peek at Anna, discovering she’s wearing a swimsuit. It’s also revealed that Anna mostly goes solo snacking due to being considerate to Chihiro due to her snack allergies.
Sometime later, the class does a “haunted house” theme for their Culture Festival and Anna notices her surname written on a tombstone. At first, this mishap prompts Kyotaro to take the blame for Anna, who recognizes his noble intentions But in a twist I didn’t even expect, we find out who did it. After school, as the two go to their respective homes they both learn how surprisingly close they live. Leading to the two taking a selfie on Kyotaro’s phone.
Overall, this episode was quite passable. As It showcased the ongoing connection between our two leads who now find themselves entangled in various situations. In the process, the school drama adds depth to Kyotaro’s character, emphasizing his protective instincts towards Anna, and making interactions evolve beyond mischief, fostering a cute and growing understanding between the two even if it hasn’t led to anything full-on romantic yet…
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
