English Dub Review: Jujutsu Kaisen “Hidden Inventory 4”

Overview:

“Let’s go home, Riko-chan.” The moment Geto extends a hand to Amanai, the worst that could possibly happen does. Geto is left dumbstruck as Toji Fushiguro makes his appearance. Toji then declares that he killed Satoru Gojo.

Our Take:

We knew that Gojo wasn’t actually dead or at the very least wouldn’t stay dead. But Riko being dead seems to be a done deal. They’re paying a little too much attention to her body for me to feel one hundred percent certain about that.

I was trying to figure out what Toji Fushiguro’s relation to Megumi was, maybe I just underestimated how far back in the past we went but he’s apparently his father. I was thinking big brother but I was wrong. What I love about the voice actor they chose to portray him, Nicolas Roye is that he sounds a lot like Robbie Daymond. So much so in fact that I thought it was him at first and when I realized it wasn’t and realized the family relation in the series I thought it was pretty cool.

Gojo seems like he’s going a bit crazy and I’m still waiting to see what happens to make Geto go full blown evil. Maybe, it’s trying to get Gojo to calm down but either way I’m interested in where this ends up.
