English Dub Review: Jujutsu Kaisen “Hidden Inventory 3”

Overview:

Gojo and Geto beat back the curse users after the bounty placed on Amanai’s head when her cell phone rings. A captured Kuroi is displayed on her phone. Gojo tries to bring Amanai back to Jujutsu High, but she insists on going to the negotiations herself.

Our Take:

Good lord the animation in this series is always top-tier. The fight between Gojo and Fushiguro was animated so well that I can’t imagine how these Mappa animators do it. I just hope they’re getting some rest because the work they put in is so damn good.

The problem with doing a prequel of anything is that you know how it’s going to go to a degree. We knew that Obi-Wan Kenobi was going to live through the prequels and we know that Gojo is still alive in the future so he can’t actually be “dead”. But what we don’t know is how his personality became the way it is and why he has to cover his eyes now. Things like that can make or break a prequel story and something tells me that this is going to rock. We also know that Geto becomes a villain and how this episode ended gives me an idea of why.
