Animated Adaptations Of “Wheel of Time” And “Space Nation” Announced

Fans of Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time will be happy to hear that Squeeze Animation Studios is teaming up with Zack Stentz for an original story presented in the Wheel of Time universe that will be set before the Prime Video series. iWot productions will produce the film that is an action-adventure about a young girl with a special gift whose life is forever changed when evil visits her remote mountain village. Finding herself alone in a dangerous world, she must go to The White Tower to learn how to use her magical powers in order to save her family and friends. Rebellious and distrusting, she learns that friendship can be as powerful a weapon against evil as any form of magic.

Update 10/19: This is confirmed to be called White Tower and it will be directed by Jay Oliva

Roland Emmerich is readying a launch of his Space Nation franchise with an animated series to help push the grander visions which is that of a live-action series and a video game in some sort of discernible order.

Space Nation features a universe inhabited by alien species and driven by three main factions with distinct ideologies and goals and will have some sort of release in 2024.
