English Dub Review: Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion “Why Raeliana Feigned Ignorance”
Overview (Spoilers Below):
A maid tells Raeliana about a mirror in the west building that promises to give visitors any information they want and warns her not to go near it. But Raeliana is too curious about what could have happened to Beatrice, the novel’s heroine…
Our Take:
The series is one step closer to its conclusion, which seems like the perfect moment for Beatrice to appear suddenly out of nowhere. But what did happen to the heroine during everything we’ve been through? That’s the question Raeliana hopes to find the answer to in order to live the life she deserves. Of course, there’s also the matter of who’s trying to kill her in the last episode, although we might’ve figured that out before her unless the series says otherwise.
Beforehand, we’re treated with another tender-hearted moment between Noah and Raeliana, with them hanging out to clear the latter’s head about what happened at the temple. Of course, that includes Noah buying everything in the jewelry store to please his “fiancé”. Following that, Raeliana receives a warning from her maid, Hailey, about a spirit inside the mirror that can answer any question. Considering Raeliana’s curiosity and desire to know what happened to Beatrice, how could she resist such a warning? Unfortunately, her quest to seek the answer from the “magic mirror” doesn’t last long, as she accidentally breaks it before she gets the chance to look at it, thanks to Noah’s sudden appearance. It’s pretty anticlimactic if you ask me.
However, that doesn’t mean Raeliana’s desire for answers ended on a sour note. She eventually remembers a part of the novel that could help her find Beatrice and possibly set things right. As for Noah, he may have a different plan in mind while visiting his older and equally royal brother. While it would be enticing to see Raeliana encounter the spirit in the mirror head-on, the episode has enough moments to intrigue me about what’ll happen to Raeliana once she finally finds Beatrice. Next week is going to get a lot more interesting from here.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
