America’s Got Talent And The World Just Got To Meet Poose The Puppet
Simon Cowell called it the “worst” act he’s ever seen. The rest of the judges hit that red “X” as fast as they could. But, regardless, NBC just introduced the world to Poose the Puppet. For those that don’t know, Poose the Puppet is an adult puppet act that’s one part music, one-part ventriloquist, and one-part constumer who has been performing for ten years and is actually an award-winning act that has toured the country for quite a while.
It kind of makes sense that the talented puppetmaster didn’t make it far on America’s Got Talent, a show known for launching typically more family friendler ventriloquist acts like Terry Fator and Darci Lynn. Poose the Puppet is well-known for his “after dark” shows and probably is more suited to an Adult Swim-esque crowd than an 8 pm ET crowd for NBC. Still though, Poose the Puppet got some much needed screentime, and hopefully, even his small stint on America’s Got Talent can boost this uniquely qualified talent to bigger and better things.
That said, there’s still one ventriloquist, so far, that has made it through the auditions. That being Brynn Cummings who wowed the judges with her unique ventriloquist act that you can watch here.
Watch Poose the Puppet’s audition on the “Auditions 4” episode of America’s Got Talent streaming now on Peacock.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
