Report: Babylon 5 Animated Film Cast Revealed
We told you last week about a tweet coming from Babylon 5 creator J. Michael Straczynski saying that an animated film was “in the can” and awaiting release. Well, The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that a Summer 2023 release is likely and the film will be called Babylon 5: The Road Home and J. Michael even wrote the entire script.
Babylon 5: The Road Home will feature all of the original cast from the TV series that aired on The CW in the late nineties including Bruce Boxleitner as John Sheridan, Claudia Christian as Susan Ivanova, Peter Jurasik as Londo Mollari, Bill Mumy as Lennier, Tracy Scoggins as Elizabeth Lochley and Patricia Tallman as Lyta Alexander. New cast includes Paul Guyet as Zathras and Jeffery Sinclair, Anthony Hansen as Michael Garibaldi, Mara Junot as Reporter and Computer Voice, Phil LaMarr as Dr. Stephen Franklin, Piotr Michael as David Sheridan, Andrew Morgado as G’Kar and Rebecca Riedy as Delenn.
The film is being directed by Battle of the Super Sons director Matt Peters with Rick Morales and Sam Register producing. Here’s the synopsis:
Travel across the galaxy with John Sheridan as he unexpectedly finds himself transported through multiple timelines and alternate realities in a quest to find his way back home. Along the way he reunites with some familiar faces, while discovering cosmic new revelations about the history, purpose, and meaning of the Universe

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
