English Dub Review: The Aristocrat’s Otherworldly Adventure: Serving Gods Who Go Too Far “Welcome to My Off-the-Charts Mansion”
Overview:
Cain is gifted a mansion and he holds a housewarming party to celebrate.
Our Take:
Cain just keeps getting everything handed to him. The king gifts Cain an entire mansion. It’s completely run down, but Cain fixes the place up in no time with magic. It’s customary for a noble to throw a party and invite other nobility when they get a new home.
All of the nobles come, even the Marquis who opposed Cain’s promotion. He tries to start trouble, but the king quickly takes care of that. All in all, it is a successful housewarming party. Of course, it can’t end without the king scolding Cain once again.
This episode is actually pretty decent. It’s not the most exciting episode possible, but it does feature a number of funny jokes and gags. My favorite gag in this episode is when someone uses Cain’s toilet and discovers what a bidet is.
My least favorite characters appear throughout the episode, but they don’t get much screen time. Even when they do, they don’t do anything infuriating. It’s nice to see Silvia again too since I enjoyed her appearance in the first episode.
Overall, this is a fine episode. Again, nothing special, but it’s a step up from the past few episodes. It gives a little bit of hope for how the remainder of the series may turn out.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
