English Dub Review: Dr. Stone: New World: “Treasure Box”
Overview: Senku (Aaron Dismuke) and the crew have embarked on their trip to Soyuz and make a shocking discovery about one of Ishigami’s villagers.
Our Take: The ship is the backdrop for most of the episode. Thankfully, the confined space doesn’t halt the output of developments. Senku’s deductions surrounding Ishigami villagers’ names taken from ore, unravel smart plot devices in resources for revival fluid on Soyuz.
Although, one plot device out of left field is the debut of the titular, Soyuz, and how his origin connects to the island. A random villager thrust into the spotlight with no buildup, functioning as a means to confirm villagers on the island. It’s a very random and hairbrained way of going about it, especially with how clever the rock naming convention is. Why-Man’s potential presence on the island is also brought up, albeit not necessarily shocking with how few people are left. Nonetheless, it is a strong way of hyping up their appearance.
There’s a ship tour and sea sickness segment that acts as a fun diversion for Senku and the science team. With a storm upon the crew’s ship, it acts as an exciting way of discovering who exactly lives on the island as they approach it.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
