Bob’s Burgers Recasts Role Of “Marshmallow”

Bob’s Burgers is getting ready to launch its season 13 finale this Sunday Night @ 9 pm ET/PT, only on FOX in an episode entitled “Amelia”, in it Louise takes a class assignment — and a few unhelpful comments by Wayne — very personally and then Bob hires a masseur-in-training to give Linda a massage for Mother’s Day.

That’s not the only big news for the Emmy-winning series. Show creator Loren Bouchard has announced that the character of “Marshmallow” has been recast from that of legendary voice actor David Herman to that of Jari Jones which was promised long ago.

The decision comes, despite most LGBT fans usually noting they actually liked how the character of Marshmallow was written rather than complaining about who voiced her, nevertheless the somewhat flimsy rules of PoC/trans characters being voiced by PoC/trans actors are here and that is the reason why Jari Jones has been cast.

For those that don’t remember, Marshmallow is a transgender African-American prostitute that first appeared in “Sheesh! Cab, Bob?” She is often seen in a white monokini, but not always and her unique skill is being able to crack anyone’s back.
