Review: Royal Crackers “Mayworth”

Overview

A botched birthday party makes Theodore Hornsby Sr. recount a troubling event from his past.

Our Take

The troubling event involves Teddy (that’s what I’m calling him) running into a Texas Chainsaw Massacre situation less an actual serial killer and more with the crazed family of cannibals. This all-the-while the founder of Royal Crackers is dealing with demons sowed from the bowels of his fowl tasting crackers, and we learn about the true discord between the Dennisons and the Hornsbys that sort of comes to a blood curdling conclusion.

This isn’t the first-time we’ve seen flashbacks for the Hornsby Sr. and perhaps we get to learn a bit more about the lineage of whence came from for Stebe and Teddy Jr. “Ghost Boy” is hilarious, and continues to show Stephanie Sheh’s talents as both a voice director and an actor. It seems that the producers have been making the most of that guest-starring budget, bringing back the same crew as last week’s episode complete with Andy Daly, Lennon Parham, and more though not in as profound a way as in “Business Mom”.

Royal Crackers checks in with another romper, between the savage eaters, the crazy climactic ending, and Teddy Sr.’s nonsensical one-liners, I couldn’t stop laughing.
