English Dub Review: The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made “Vitor the Resonance”

Overview:

Vitor and Guscle go on a wild goose chase investigating the murder of a man who wasn’t killed before Vitor reveals his true identity and their newly forged bonds are tested in an all-out brawl of macho proportions.

Our Take:

Is it a murder mystery when the person wasn’t murdered? This whole episode was funny but also seemed like a waste of time. Guscle and his group of meatheads were determined to find out what happened to their friend and who killed him. They were told multiple times that he wasn’t dead but muscles don’t always lead to brains. But they lead to a beat-down brawl, which was entertaining to watch. Oh and the guy who wasn’t killed? Turns out he slipped while peeing into a bottle that I’m pretty sure someone drank out of during the episode.

Right before the episode ends we are treated to a clip of Seiichi not being able to perform magic. At least that’s what it looked like to me. At the very least I’m excited to see what the next couple of episodes lead to because Seiichi has been unbeatable up until this point. This was still a funny episode and I enjoyed what it brought to the table.
