Yohance & The Kalfani Graphic Novel Getting Animated Adaptation

 

Afro-Fantasy Artist Paul Louise-Julie makes his directorial debut with Sanu Wara Studios’ “Yohance: The Kalfani Job”, the big-screen adaptation of Louise-Julie’s cult classic graphic novel of the same name.

A mythic and emotionally charged hero’s journey, “Yohance: The Kalfani Job” tells the story of an elite operative dispatched to recover an ancient artifact. However, he soon discovers that retrieving it will be more difficult than expected as various factions fight to protect it.

Louise-Julie directed “Yohance” from a screenplay he wrote based on his graphic novel of the same name. Louise-Julie also produced the film with Candace Kidd and Vlad Piverger, with Chris Johnson as Executive Producer. Behind the scenes, Louise-Julie personally designed, modelled, and animated every aspect of the film using photorealistic 3D CGI. 

Composer Joel Santos is creating the score. Sanu Wara Studios Present “Yohance: The Kalfani Job”. The film is slated to be released in Late Fall, 2023.
