English Dub Review: Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for my Retirement: “Tales from Paradise Restaurant”

Overview: Mitsuha (Trina Nishimura) takes on a new job helping a struggling family and their restaurant that’s plagued by a wealthy, despicable  

Our Take: Another day, another rich, pompous creep for Mitsuha to put in their place. This time in one harassing and threatening a family-run restaurant. So, it’s same old, same old as far as the plot goes. With that said, it still manages to be enjoyable.

It is very much a who’s who of the friends that Mitusha’s made and helped since her journey. The entertainment lies in how Mitsuha gets to flex on the uppity restaurant owner with the royalty she has befriended. 

Aleena, who seeks out Mitsuha’s help, is also charming in her incessant crushing on her fathers apprentice, Anel. A family in need taking priority over making a fat sum, shines a light on Mitsuha’s generosity and compassion. They are qualities that make her a heartwarming lead along with her eccentric humorous aspects.
