English Dub Review: Call of the Night “10th Night: Enlarge the Peeping-Tom Photos”
Overview:
It’s not all sparkles and hearts at the maid café where Midori works. Someone is creeping on a certain maid, but uncovering the interloper isn’t as easy as it looks.
Our Take:
Maid cafes are one of those Japanese things you see in anime that are a bit weird. But I will say they seem kind of interesting, and I would totally go. Not even for the maid stuff, it just seems like such a niche thing that it would be fun to experience. Ko doesn’t seem as enthused but Nazuna is willing to help her friend Midori out and work there. Midori sees this as a chance to show Ko all of her charms.
What they weren’t expecting was a mystery to be solved. One of the maids working at the cafe had some peeping-tom photos taken of her and Ko-lock Holmes is on the case! I’m just kidding I don’t know why I called him that… But he does a good job and some of the things he had been waiting to say were hilarious. I’ll leave the mystery unsolved on here because I thought it was fun to find out. It wasn’t anything groundbreaking but fun. This is almost exactly how I would describe this show, it’s just a lot of fun.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
