Report: Trill League Lives! BET+ Grabs Animated Adaptation For Development
Three years ago, Trill League was ordered to series at Quibi, the short-lived quarter-hour streaming service that didn’t make it a year. Then, earlier this year, we reported that producer Anthony Piper was thinking about abandoning the project altogether and focus his efforts elsewhere. Now, Deadline is reporting that BET+ is now developing the animated series with a new co-writer for Piper in Leann Bowen.
This is huge news, and GREAT news. 50 Cent’s G-Unit television is still on board as a producer for the animated superhero series that follows teenagers dealing with teenage problems as they battle bad guys of the social paradigm. Anthony Piper was a longtime producer for series like Axe Cop and Major Lazer for FXX.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
