English Dub Review: Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? “The Great Falls | The Great Falls”

Overview:

Bell and his party are making good time and will soon enter the lower floors. But the dungeon crawl is going too smoothly, and Cassandra cannot shake her earlier premonition.

Our Take:

The number one positive I can say about this anime is that the animation is phenomenal. This has some of the best fight scenes in anime hands down. From season one up till the most recent episode, you won’t find better fight scenes in many other places. I wish I could say the same about the sound effects. It feels like they use the same sound for like five different attacks and while it’s a cool sound it gets easier to notice.

As for the plot, it’s not following what I personally love about this anime but that doesn’t mean it isn’t good. We also have to remember it is only the second episode and it will take a little bit of time to get going. But I do like the growth and change we are seeing in Bell and I hope that continues because he was always a little too good for me personally. I want to see him deal with some tough situations.
