HiDive Sets English Dub Premiere Date For “Call of Night”
The increasingly impressive and assertive HiDive streaming service has announced a September 8th start date for the English dubbed adaptation of Call of Night.
Sentai Filmworks had announced that they had acquired the rights to the series earlier this year that will have 13 episodes in the first season. The anime television series adaptation is produced by Liden Films. The series is directed by Tomoyuki Itamura, with Tetsuya Miyanishi serving as chief director, Michiko Yokote writing the series’ scripts, Haruka Sagawa designing the characters, and Yoshiaki Dewa composing the music. The English dub cast is here.
Sentai will handle the distribution of the home release after streaming has concluded.
Synopsis:
Wracked by insomnia and wanderlust, Ko Yamori is driven onto the moonlit streets every night in an aimless search of something he can’t seem to name. Purposeless introspection marks his nightly ritual — until he meets Nazuna, who might just be a vampire! Ko’s new companion could offer him dark gifts and a vampire’s immortality. But there are conditions that Ko must meet before he can sink his teeth into vampirism, and he’ll discover just how far he’s willing to go to satisfy his desires.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
