HiDive Dates English Dubbed Adaptation Of YA BOY KONGMING!

Sentai Filmworks had announced earlier this year that they had acquired the rights to stream Ya Boy Kongming! as part of their HiDive streaming service and now we have a premiere date of September 23rd.

Ya Boy Kongming! is animated by P.A. Works and directed by Osamu Honma. The theme song is performed by 96neko while Genki Hikota provides the series’ music. Masahiro Murakami is in charge of special effects.

A home release will follow later this year.

Synopsis:

The music industry becomes a battlefield when ancient strategist Kongming is transported from historical China to modern Japan. He’ll use military tactics to turn his new friend Eiko into a music star, and together they’ll take the party hotspot of Shibuya by storm! The story is a clever take (and smart twist) on fish-out-of-water and person-out-of-time themes with out-of-this-world results for Ya Boy Kongming!
