HBO MAX Reveals Adult Animation Acquisitions/Departures For October 2022
HBO MAX original series Velma is doing a panel at NYCC 2022 so we MAY get a surprise announcement for a premiere of some kind, but until then, the streamer has announced departures and arrivals for adult animation titles that you can see below. We also included details about the Velma panel as it may be the last time an HBO original animated series gets a panel at any convention ever again.
Not only that, but more Adult Swim series are leaving HBO MAX which producer Olan Rogers confirms (with his series Final Space meeting a similar fate) is all for a tax write off of programming that is not performing well on the streaming service, thus the departures.

SYNOPSIS: VELMA is an adult animated comedy series telling the origin story of Velma Dinkley, the unsung and underappreciated brains of the Scooby-Doo Mystery Inc. gang. An original and humorous spin that unmasks the complex and colorful past of one of America’s most beloved mystery solvers, executive producer Mindy Kaling will voice the titular character. Charlie Grandy, Howard Klein and Sam Register also serve as executive producers. VELMA is produced by Warner Bros. Animation
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
