English Dub Review: The Devil is a Part-Timer! “The Devil Learns That Choshi (and the World) Are Bigger than He Knew”

Overview:

Emi, Maou, and the gang learn the source of the recent demon invasion, as well as some surprising facts about Choshi City and their boss.

Our Take:

I really like this anime. The characters, the plot, the animation, and the voice acting are all top-tier. One of the newer characters, Amane, was voiced by Dani Chambers. I wouldn’t have known unless I looked it up because she sounded so different. I really like when she gets to do roles like this because it is so different from her norm. I’m more used to her doing cutesy characters.

I hope this series gets fully animated soon. I don’t know if I can wait another five years for season three. If some of these other anime I have seen keep getting other seasons I don’t see how this one can’t. It’s funny and who doesn’t love seeing Satan flip burgers at McDonald’s… I mean McRonald’s, excuse me. Seeing how our religions and myths get utilized with certain characters is really unique and interesting. There is Satan and Lucifer but they are two different things. It’s just a fun world that I hope we get to experience for a long time.
