English Dub Review: Parallel World Pharmacy “The Boy with No Shadow and the Inquisitors”
Overview:
Inquisitors from the temple attempt to capture Farma.
Our Take:
Farma comes face-to-face with inquisitors from the temple. They try to capture him and then kill him to no avail. They originally think he is an evil spirit, but once they see the true nature of his powers and his scars, they too think he is a deity.
Their leader, Salomon, is willing to kill himself for his actions. However, Farma stops him and operates on him to fix his broken leg. Farma acknowledges the fact that he’s not a physician, but he’s the only one who can help Salomon.
Salomon repays Farma by giving him a wand that only deities can use, as well as a medallion that will suppress his divine powers. This way, he can walk around in the daylight and he will cast a shadow.
While he’s on the town with Lotte and Blanche, he overhears someone asking another pharmacy for Parallel World Pharmacy products. They say they don’t trust them given the noble status and they don’t carry the products because they aren’t sanctioned by the pharmaceutists’ guild. This inspires Farma to start his own rival guild.
This episode is just full of more good development for Farma. It’s great that he’ll be able to live more of a normal life now. It’s also great that he’s making more important connections. He’ll especially need them if he wants to form his own guild. Farma keeps pushing forward with his goals and I’m enjoying it every step of the way.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
