English Dub Review: The Daily Life of the Immortal King “Three Brothers from the Shadow Faction” “B++ Is The Best Language In The World”

Overview:

After the assassins failed at the theme park they launch an all-out attack on the school.

Wang Ling is “recovering” from getting involved in the assassination attempt. His friends come to visit and he does a force test. Which of course gets more people to take notice of his power.

Our Take:

I was starting to wonder where this one was, it had been two weeks since we last got an episode. As if to read my mind Crunchyroll was like “Here have two brother” and we got a double dose of The Daily Life of the Immortal King. I absolutely love this show, I was really starting to miss it which is something I don’t say about a show very often.

The references in this show are off the hook, and honestly, I don’t know how they get away with them. Wang Ling’s friends straight up looked like Goku (or maybe Goten?) and Trunks. They even did the “Fusion” dance. It was hilarious and I am glad they are able to get away with it because I want to see more of that.

Wang Ling is one of the funnier overpowered characters I’ve seen. If you like Saitama from One Punch Man then you will probably like Wang. There was an invisible bad guy but he thought Wang was talking about the delivery he just got when he said “Oh there you are” but Wang said “No I meant you” as he walks by not caring. The facial reactions, animation, and comedy are all top-tier here. Please do yourself a favor and watch this one.
