English Dub Review: I’m Quitting Heroing “The Drinking Party from Hell”
Overview:
There are certain rules one must follow when the boss invites an employee out for food and drinks. Especially when said employee is concealing his true identity.
Our Take:
I asked and this anime gifted me what I wanted. I really wanted to get more time with Echidna and learn about her motivations. She even admits that her way of going about things wasn’t the best. Perhaps she could have just tried uniting with the humans. We learn she didn’t want conquest she is just after the Philosopher’s Stone. We don’t learn what for or what this stone can do but perhaps that will come later.
One of the more interesting parts of the episode was the beginning. We saw a modern-day scene of a city being ravaged by monsters. Since Leo woke up from it as if it was his nightmare I am wondering if this isn’t an isekai we haven’t been made aware of or perhaps that was this world’s future? Either way, it was interesting to think about, and later when Leo disguises his face it looks very similar to the person from his dream. I hope we learn what that is all about.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
