English Dub Review: The Genius Prince’s Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt “Yesterday’s Enemy Is Today’s…”
Overview:
When Wein’s second meeting with King Ordalasse ends with deadly consequences, the Natran delegation flees with the Cavarinians in hot pursuit. But Wein has a plan to turn the hunter into the hunted Zenovia asks a favor that Wein is hard-pressed to agree to.
Our Take:
Seriously, one look at that advisor and you’d know he was evil. Long black nails, treacherous and skeevy face. I’m sorry just stuff like that bugs me, who is actually surprised when that person ends up being a traitor or a terrible person?
I will say Wein is one of the most fun and enjoyable characters I’ve dealt with in a while. The way he deals with situations is so impressive but also human and realistic. Don’t ever mention anything negative about Ninym or any Flahm in his presence, because he will murder you. Typically, he handles things in the wisest way but then there are times he acts human and lets his emotions get the best of him. Dallas Reid does a great job of letting those emotions be known as well. Plus, he does get some karmic retribution here and there. I was also surprised that Zenovia didn’t offer marriage to Wein. Makes this feel like a better version of How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
