Our Take

For the first episode, much of the humor is primarily focused on a weird-ass game Pony made up which ends up getting Annie and her circle of friends in trouble often having them roam around the city at real locations, often involving property damage in the process, leading to a funny and unexpected twist at the end that further perpetuates Pony’s wackiness.

As for the 2nd episode, the jokes heavily relied on the reveal of a hierachy system within the apartment Annie lives in which often involves having to run for president of the apartment in an effort to make smart decision. As Annie’s campaign against her new rival Jenny Benson whom as the plot progresses, has ulterior motives of her own…

Overall, both episodes were fun, well-paced and had some unexpected twists this time around. For the first episode, there’s usually a method to the madness within the writing of this show often building around Pony’s antics and sometimes highlighting how screwed up some human characters can be when you learn their motivations behind doing silly and unpredictable things that leave you wondering how some of them aren’t arrested, esspecially wacky destructive shit Benson and Annie do to each other, but at the end of the day, a 3rd option is sometimes the best one, even if it’s potentially at the cost of who you are…
