English Dub Review: Don’t Toy with Me Miss, Nagatoro “What Do You Think, Senpai?/ You Could Be More Honest, Senpai”
Overview:
Senpai doesn’t have any confidence that he can win against the art club president. Nagatoro and the gang try to cheer him up, but the president’s art is just too powerful. Nagatoro offers to model for Senpai.
Our Take:
Okay, we are starting to get a little bit better with this. I understand a lot of fanservice is going to happen in a show like this but at least it was as “tasteful” as it could be this time. I think that the President is a looming presence for Nagatoro but it was kind of nice to see the bullying dialed down a bit.
The standout this episode was Senpai. I never thought I would say that but Senpai really stepped up and went after what he wanted. It wasn’t a full-blown confession or anything but it was still nice to see him get his feelings across. Now if only Nagatoro would be honest with her feelings but then we probably wouldn’t have a comedy I guess. We will see how the competition goes with President next week. I am pretty sure this show got a second season too which is kind of annoying cause there are a lot of other shows that deserve second seasons over this but maybe it ends on a high note.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
