Funimation News: Sasaki and Miyano Eng Dub Start Date ; Sword Art Online Alicization War of Underworld English Dub Library Acquired
Funimation has acquired all 23 episodes of the English dubbed adaptation of Sword Art Online Alicization War of Underworld. The Aniplex of America distributed series was previously premiered on Adult Swim’s Toonami lineup which wrapped early in 2021 after many production delays as a result of COVID-19. The series is written by Reki Kawahara and illustrated by abec. It is animated by A-1 Pictures and directed by Manabu Ono. The English dub cast includes Bryce Papenbrook, Cherami Leigh, and Kayli Mills in the lead roles.

Synopsis:
A new world, unfamiliar memories, and a name that cannot be forgotten. With no recollection of logging in, Kirito finds himself in a brand-new world with mysterious memories of a boy named Eugeo and a young blond girl, Alice.
Her name strikes him as important, unforgettable. But why? As he wanders the world for a way to log out, will he stumble upon something even more important than getting home?

Funimation has announced a Feb 5th start date for the English dubbed adaptation of Sasaki and Miyano. The Studio Deen produced series is being directed by Shinji Ishihira (Super Lovers) and Takehiro Ueno (Kochoki episode director) at Studio DEEN, with series composition by Yoshiko Nakamura (Super Lovers) and character designs by Maki Fujii (I’ve Always Liked You). Synopsis:
Miyano spends his days reading Boys’ Love manga and worrying about the soft features of his face. His world of fiction becomes reality when a chance encounter leads him to high school senior Sasaki in the middle of a fight.
Now, Sasaki wants to spend every opportunity he can to get to know Miyano. And what was once admiration quickly turns into affection.
