English Dub Review: Attack on Titan “Sneak Attack”

Overview:

The Beast Titan joins the fray, but General Magath is determined to take him down. Meanwhile, with the city in flames, Colt and Gabi rush to rescue Falco who’s held captive by Jaegerists.

Our Take:

Memes aside this was such a fantastic episode. There was a lot of character growth from a character that most fans hate. Once again Attack on Titan tells a more realistic and compelling war story in such a fantastical setting. I really can’t get over how great this show is and each episode seems to up the ante at all times. If it can stick the landing we might have an actual modern masterpiece on our hands.

Seriously though that face Yelena made? Talk about a big yikes from me dawg. I don’t know what’s creepier, that face she made or the fact that she was all calm and happy right after. What was the point of it?

I know that most of you absolutely despise Gabi and I understand why. But if you really think about it, she has the same story as Eren just from the “enemies” perspective. This is exactly what Gabi learned about this episode. When Nile let Falco go even though he was from Marley that opened Gabi’s eyes. These aren’t devils, they’re just people like her and just like the Marleyans, there are good and bad among them. God, I love this anime and it keeps getting better. Every episode feels like five minutes and that “To Be Continued” is heartbreaking every time. Please keep up with this show. I feel it is for us anime fans what shows like Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones were for mainstream media.
