The Roku Channel Debuts Premiere Episode Of “Doomlands” One Day Early

An increasing trend in adult animation is networks posting the first or so episode of a brand-new series on Youtube and The Roku Channel is no different. In this instance, it’s the debut episode of Doomlands which is slated to premiere on January 28th from Look Mom! Productions who recently brought in Mia Di Pasquale as a VP of Development focusing on adult animation.

The series is created and directed by Josh O’Keefe, in Doomlands, the infamous Danny Doom and aspiring bartender Lhandi sling beers across a hellish wasteland in their mobile subterranean pub: The Oasis. In order to survive, all the crew needs to do is not kill each other.

The adult animated comedy comes from Josh O’Keefe, Josh Bowen (Gary and His Demons) and Look Mom! Productions, a Blue Ant Studios company that specializes in original animated programming for teens and adults.

Lee Porter (Gary and His Demons, Bigfoot) is supervising producer/director. Writer/performers include Roger Bainbridge (Baroness Von Sketch Show, The Handmaid’s Tale, The Amazing Gayl Pile); Mark Little “Danny Doom” (Conan, Gary and His Demons (Creator), Cavendish (Creator), Cupcake & Dino) and Kayla Lorette “Lhandi” (New Eden (Creator), Gary and His Demons, Kim’s Convenience). Stephen Sloan (Crack-Duck, Bigfoot, Parenthesis Humour (Creator) is animation director.
