English Dub Review: How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom “To Fight and Conquer in All Our Battles Is Not Supreme Excellence”
Overview:
Jeanne Euphoria of the Gran Chaos Empire is sent to Van to deal with the occupation. Roroa observes the newfound freedom of the citizens of Van. Poncho locates a source of food for the impoverished citizens…
Our Take:
It’s a good thing there is a second part to this or else this episode would be vastly more disappointing. But since part two is airing now and I am sure the dub is around the corner that isn’t the case. With King Souma’s victory there comes a lot of good and potentially some hardships as well.
This was all set up for the next arc where Souma will have to negotiate with the Gran Chaos Empire. I am not a huge fan of the obvious harem in the making we’ve been getting. Souma just doesn’t seem the type but I think when all is said and done he will literally be with everyone. It is what it is though and I guess you can’t blame the guy. But the politics and just the way even minor things are shown to make a huge difference is really refreshing. I think that is what sets Realist Hero apart from its contemporaries.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
