English Dub Review: Sakugan “ON THE ROAD”

Overview:

Memempu, Gagumber, Zackletu, and Yuri have teamed up for their journey, but one-night Memempu gets sick and has a terrifying nightmare. After that, the grown-ups just seem to act more and more strangely…

Our Take:

I’m definitely happy that Zackletu is back but man they are not in the best predicament. Everyone is getting sick because of this flower and then the antidote flower ends up being a fake and makes things worse. What I learned is never to trust flowers apparently.

I thought they were in some sort of time loop situation because Gagumber and Zackletu kept having the same conversation. I am guessing it was just some weird side effect of the flower. I think that if they really sat and talked a bit that Gagumber and Zackletu would have some good chemistry. Maybe that’s just the romantic in me talking though because I do like to have my romance in everything.

The fabled marker Urorop keeps showing up in Memempu’s dreams. Those dreams turn into nightmares as she sees Gagumber dying. Will these dreams turn out to be prophetic? I am hoping we find out! Speaking of Urorp, that might of been them watching the group from up above…
