English Dub Review: Sakugan “JUSTICE FOR VILLAINS”

Overview:

Memempu and Gagumber are free once more… until they’re caught by the Yuri team, a gang of young miscreants based in the Colony of AreYaar. The kids take them back to their home base and teach them the secret behind the Colony’s supposed equality!

Our Take:

This episode had a lot of what I like so it might be the best one yet. Zackletu makes her return, and hopefully for the rest of the series! I am also a huge fan of heists and this episode had a lot of that so it was fun to watch. Plus, the characters that makeup Yuri’s team are fun and I hope they stick around.

Gagumber apparently made a ton of money gambling but lost it all somehow so he was running from some loan sharks. I thought that Yuri’s team was them but I was wrong, they were after him because of Zackletu. You may not have noticed but I really like Zackletu and we need more of her. If I could say this show definitely does one thing right, it would be the characters. I haven’t really met any that I don’t like. Memempu can get on my nerves a bit but I think that’s by design.

Yuri almost went down a path of destruction he couldn’t return from. But luckily for him, he has some friends that care an awful lot for him and want what’s best for him. We also got some flashbacks of a character from Gagumber’s past so I imagine they will play a part at some point. I am really enjoying Sakugan and I hope you all are too!
