Review: Victor And Valentino “La Catrina”
Overview
Valentino is elated to get an exclusive invite to a performance by the famous singer La Catrina in the Underworld, but the event is for grownups only…
Our Take
While much of the episode starts off relatively small, the heart of the story is primarily focused on Valentino wanting to be amongst the adults all for the sake of a concert in the underworld with a simplistic disguise.
Of course, Victor being the impatient mischievous bastard that he is feels like this is getting in the way of a food fight” he wanted them to partake in together. Leading to two big unexpected twists thanks to a plot-point Valentino pointed out earlier to Victor about some background audio.
Overall, a decently paced episode. The plot was simple yet effective, the humor worked in certain places and most of all, the twist at the end left me with a lot of questions while still keeping things fun and entertaining.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
