Motor Mythbusters Wonders If The Car From “The Flintstones” Could Work
San Francisco’s Florence Fang might have a new item for her collection of Flintstone-inspired lawn ornaments. The Motor Trend channel is getting ready to premiere a new series called Motor Mythbusters, and one of the upcoming episodes will test whether or not the fabled car from The Flintstones could both be built and legitimately operated.
For those that don’t know, Fred’s Flintmobile is started by having your feet kick the “bedrock” thereby causing some sort of acceleration that propels the vehicle across constant rocky terrain. Now, I’m not a physics major, but that seems totally plausible, right? In any event, perhaps this could be tested in the upcoming FOX series Bedrock featuring Elizabeth Banks.
Motor Mythbusters premieres August 4th only on Motor Trend Network, check your local listings.
Synopsis:

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
