Review: Neon Konbini “I Hate My Dad Simulator”

Overview (Recap of Sketches)

“Spyro & Friendz”

In this short segment, much like the previous two, that’s been covered here. It’s primarily focused on a rabidly obsessed fan of Spyro: The Dragon. But much of the humor this time is his inexperience in capturing high-quality footage for his game while trying to explain it to the audience, along with his reactions to everything under one minute…

Our Take

“Game Over Drinker “managed to surprise me this week with a Castlevania game. Aside from that, the latest “Bean” sketch and the RWBY were easily the highlights this week, but I feel like the “Spyro & Friendz” sketch needs to have a point other than pointing out the rabid ignorance of specific fandoms. We can only hope future episodes top them in the future.
