Funimation Announces English Dub Adaptation Of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2 Part 2 For Summer 2021 Bow

 

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2 Part 2 has been announced for a summer 2021 with the English dub continuing off pretty much where the the first season lets out. According to Funimation, the second half of Season 2 picks up where we left off, with Rimuru and the rest of the Jura Tempest Federation recovering from the dark events that just unfolded, and seeking to punish the one responsible for it all, Demon Lord Clayman.

The series is animated by Eight Bit and directed by Yasuhito Kikuchi, with Atsushi Nakayama as assistant director, Kazuyuki Fudeyasu handling series composition, Ryouma Ebata designing the characters, and Takahiro Kishida providing monster designs. Elements Garden is composing the series’ music. Synopsis:

Average 37-year-old Minami Satoru dies and is reincarnated as the most unremarkable creature imaginable—a slime. Initially, things are pretty grim. He’s blind, deaf, and weak. But by combining his two special abilities, “Predator” and “Great Sage,” the newly named, Rimuru Tempest, will use his blobby powers to gain both friends and foes alike in a diverse new world.
