South Africa: Slew Of Adult Swim Programming Headed To ShowMax

The streaming strategy for Rick and Morty season five is better in South Africa than it is in the United States. Whereas America has no streaming strategy for the network’s biggest franchise, South Africa’s ShowMax has announced that they will be streaming Rick and Morty season five on a weekly basis starting June 21st. Not only that, but the streamer has a slew of adult animation on the way from the network including Mr. Pickles, Momma Named Me Sheriff, Yolo: Crystal Fantasy, Primal, Tigtone, Robot Chicken, Lazor Wulf, The Jellies, and even the recent Rick and Morty special.

Here in America, Lazor Wulf season two heads to HBO MAX on June 5th, nearly six months after the episodes had premiered on Adult Swim. Consider yourselves lucky if you get Adult Swim programming in South Africa!
