Our Take

This episode mainly felt like an introduction to Mizusawa’s character. I think is interesting. His character is so different from the titular Tomozaki. Aoi’s wise mind is also enlightening when you think about both her knowledge about games and being a general life coach. He’s still awkward and they aren’t by any means fluid, but he’s making progress which is the purpose of the series even if it feels like a teen drama at times.

Overall this episode excelled with its relaxing atmosphere & character progression. There may be subtle hints of Fumiya being slightly jealous at this Mizusawa dude but that remains to seen what direction it’ll take in the later episodes. At the very least Fumiya hasn’t stopped improving…
