English Dub Anime News: Funimation/ Tokyo Ghoul OVA’s ; Netflix “Yasuke” Trailer Debuts ; Crunchyroll Orders WWE Anime
WWE has announced that they have sold an anime series to Crunchyroll. The news is assuming that the anime series will be streamed on Crunchyroll and not Peacock which is where WWE Network was recently relocated. Not much else is known about the project at this juncture, but we will update when we get more information.

Funimation has announced that on 4/28, they will be dropping two new English dub adapted OVA’s for Tokyo Ghoul entitled “Pinto” and “Jack”. The series comes from studio Pierrot.
Synopsis:

LaKeith Stanfield stars and executive produces in Yasuke which premieres 4/29 only on Netflix. Also part of the cast, Ming-Na Wen, Darren Criss, Takehiro Hira, Maya Tanida, Paul Nakauchi, Julie Marcus, William Christopher Stephens, Dia Frampton, Don Donahue, Amy Hill and Noshi Dalal. MAPPA studios is producing the LeSean Thomas directed/written series with character designs from Takeshi Koike and musical score from FlyLo.

Synopsis:
In a war-torn feudal Japan filled with mechs and magic, the greatest ronin never known, Yasuke, struggles to maintain a peaceful existence after a past life of violence. But when a local village becomes the center of social upheaval between warring daimyo, Yasuke must take up his sword and transport a mysterious child who is the target of dark forces and bloodthirsty warlords.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
